ABOUT

I am a digital, visual and sound artist born in France in 1984. I lived in Nepal, Vietnam, France, Argentina, Belgium, Spain and Chile. I studied music, philosophy and sound-engineering.

My work investigates the unconscious mechanisms of individual and collective identity constructs. I seek the common principle underlying each manifestation of the human, based on the premise we are all the same ideal person instantiated through space and time. This assumption is largely inherited from my childhood growing up among gods, ghosts and witches.

Merging tech and mystics, I replicate the rituals and iconography of traditional cultures with the tools at hand: my digital and performative avatars, custom musical instruments, biased scientific equipment, interactive installations, kinetic sculptures, hacked hardware and creative software all aim to artificially induce first person experiences of trance, hypnosis, trans-personal permutations and cognitive sublimation.

The audio medium is central to my work as it relates directly with the subconscious: sound suggests without revealing, evokes without illustrating, and expresses without formulating.
