EAZYNECT is a free software tool which allows to quickly and easily use the Microsoft Kinect to control your favorite audio and video software.
It is a tool for DJs, VJs, music producers, performers, dancers and choreographers, new-media artists, advertisers, theatre directors, art galleries, and basically anyone who thinks it’s cool to control audio and video through body motion, without having to get too deep into programming.
It differs from previous kinect hacks in that it translates the raw X/Y/Z coordinates for each body joint into a series of individual parameters that effectively describe basic body movements. These are normalised to MIDI format and integrated to a simple mapping system, so all you have to do is affect a movement to an audio or video control parameter in your host program to start building your own set.
